     George E. Covey was born on 14 December 1902.1 He was the son of Rolin L Covey and Anne M. Reid. George E. Covey has also be reported to have been born circa 1903 New York.2 He married Hazel M. Filkins, daughter of Myron A. Filkins and Cora A. Fonda.3 George E. Covey died on 28 February 1992 at Schoharie Co, New York, at age 89.1
     He appeared on the census of 2 April 1930 at Amsterdam, Montgomery Co, New York; George Covey, 27, Hazel, 24, Roland, 6 and 9/12ths, Earl, 5 and 3/12ths. The months may be way off as they were difficult to read.4
