     Harland Harding Covey was born on 14 December 1920 at New York.1 He was the son of Harland Covey and Della Rose Clark. Harland Harding Covey died on 8 September 1944 at age 23; Harland had enlisted in the Army on 1 Oct 1942. He was killed in the "line of duty" in a non-battle incident during the war.1
