Thomas H. Covey

     Thomas H. Covey was born on 31 July 1877 at Clinton Mills, Clinton Co, New York.^2,3 He was the son of Samuel Covey and Elizabeth Jane Coates. Thomas H. Covey married Frances Bulles, daughter of George Bulles and Emeline Labine, on 1 July 1902 at Potsdam, St Lawrence Co, New York.^1,3 Thomas H. Covey died on 4 July 1933 at Potsdam, St Lawrence Co, New York, at age 55; Thomas was survived by three brothers, Herbert and Walter of Katonah, NY and Edgar of Syracuse, NY, and by one sister, Mrs. Hattie Noe of Willsboro.³ He was buried on 6 July 1933 at Bayside Cemetery, Potsdam, St Lawrence Co, New York.³
     For many years, Thomas Covey was a barber in Potsdam, initially in other shops but more recently before his death on Market Street.³ He appeared on the census of 21 April 1930 at Potsdam, St Lawrence Co, New York; Thomas H. Covey, 52, Francis G., 47, married about 27 years, both b. New York.¹
