     Mary Bullis was born circa 1794 at Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Joseph Bullis and Lydia Johnson. Mary Bullis married Thomas Scott Jr, son of Thomas Scott and Anna Willoughby, on 15 September 1812 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co, Vermont; Both Thomas and Mary were of Lower Canada, and the marriage was recorded 10 Apr 1813.1 Mary Bullis died on 28 March 1867 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2,3 She was buried on 30 March 1867 at Union Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3,4
      Mary Bullis also went by the name of Polly.
