Joseph Bullis was born on 29 July 1766 at Nine Partners, Dutchess Co, New York; Date from baptismal record.2 He was the son of Jesse Bullis and Anna (?).1 Joseph Bullis was baptized on 20 July 1843 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 He married Lydia Johnson. Joseph Bullis died on 10 March 1850 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 83.3 He was buried on 11 March 1850 at Brockville Cemetery, Quebec; The burial record for Joseph Bullis mentions sons Stephen and Joseph Bullis as witnesses.2
