Elizabeth Hillman was born on 19 November 1916 at Hudson, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.1,2 She married Howard Thomas Dean, son of Thomas Edward Dean and Mildred Eva Scott, on 20 July 1941 at Hudson, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts. Elizabeth Hillman died on 12 December 2001 at Hudson, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, at age 85; "HUDSON- Elizabeth (Hillman) Dean, 85, of Hudson, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, in her home. She was the wife of Howard T. Dean, who died in 1985. Born in Hudson, she was the daughter of Robert E. and Lillian A. (Wellman) Hillman, and lived in Hudson all her life.
She was formerly employed as a secretary at Hudson High School. She owned and operated Driftwood Aquarium for 35 years. She was a member of the Unitarian Church of Hudson and Marlborough and was also a Sunday school teacher for many years. She graduated from Hudson High School. Mrs. Dean was a member of the National Genealogy Society and taught genealogy.
She leaves a son, H. Thomas Dean and a daughter, Cynthia E. Campbell, both of Hudson; sister, Ruth O'Neil of Berlin; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, at 10 a.m., at the Merrill-Carleton Funeral Home, 1 Pleasant St., Hudson. Burial will follow at South Cemetery, Berlin..."3,4,2 She was buried on 15 December 2001 at South Cemetery, Berlin, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.4

Hillman, 53, and Lillian A., 54, along with siblings Robert C., 26 and Ruth, 19.5 Betty Hillman graduated from Hudson High School and operated Driftwood Aquarium in Hudson for many years. She was also an avid genealogist.
