     Effie Matilda Derick was born on 22 April 1870 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Henry Miller Derick and Jessie Ann Shand. Effie Matilda Derick died on 26 February 1874 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 3.1 She was buried on 28 February 1874.1
