     Comfort William Fadden was born on 12 August 1784 at Rensselaerwyk, Rensselaer Co, New York; Recorded by Brunswick Center Lutheran Church. He was the son of John Fadden and Catherine Van derwerken. Comfort William Fadden married Nancy Scott, daughter of Thomas Scott and Anna Willoughby, circa 1809 at Quebec. Comfort William Fadden died on 2 April 1874 at Rouse's Point, Clinton Co, New York, at age 89.1 He was buried on 25 April 1874.
     He was Mason. He appeared on the census of 1851 at Clarenceville, Rouville Co, Quebec; Comfort W. Fadden, farmer, b. US, Episcopalian, 67, Nancy, b. Canada, 61, Jane, 32, and Richard, 26.2 He appeared on the census of 16 July 1870 at Champlain, Clinton Co, New York; Enumerated as "Culvert" Fadden, aged 85, and a day laborer, b. VT, he was living with his daughter, Catherine A. Mandigo and her husband, William Mandigo.3
