     Henry Daniel Salls was born on 8 June 1891 at Montgomery, Franklin Co, Vermont.1 He was the son of Gustin Augustus Salls and Lenora Capella Manzer. Henry Daniel Salls died after 1968; He was generally known in the area as Henry Daniel Salls, which was the name of his uncle. In 1968 he was living alone in a shack near Lake Memphremagog.2
      As of 8 June 1891, Henry Daniel Salls was also known as William Monroe Salls.2
