Robert Ralph Cowin

     Robert Ralph Cowin was born on 12 February 1898.¹ He married Sylvia Alice Tryon, daughter of Timothy William Tryon and Winetta Jane Welch, on 4 July 1921 at Port Henry, Essex Co, New York; This was Robert Cowin's second marriage, as he had been widowed.² Robert Ralph Cowin died in 1943.
     On 12 September 1918, Robert R. Cowin registered for the draft at the local board in Elizabethtown, New York. At that time, he and his wife Emma were living at Port Henry. He was a blacksmith's helper.¹
