     Harold Newman Tryon was born on 27 August 1900. He was the son of Truman L. Tryon and Cora Floyd. Harold Newman Tryon married Frances Mary Durand on 30 September 1931 at Hartford, Hartford Co, Connecticut.1 Harold Newman Tryon died on 28 January 1988 at age 87.
     He appeared on the census of 1910 at Westport, Essex Co, New York; Harold , aged 8, was living with his grandfather William Floyd in Westport, just several households away from his parents. Series: T624 Roll: 934 Page: 269.
