John Priest Covey

     John Priest Covey was born on 13 October 1875 at Quebec.1 He was the son of Aaron Covey and Mary Elizabeth Dickinson. John Priest Covey married Rosa Ostrander, daughter of James Ostrander and Catherine Baker, on 9 July 1897 at South Haven, Van Buren Co, Michigan.2 John Priest Covey died on 15 December 1952 at Benton Harbor, St Joseph Co, Michigan, at age 77.1
     Kelly Westphal has an obituary which states that John Priest Covey moved to Michigan at age 8. In light of this and that his sister, Florence, died October 1882 in Quebec, it would seem the family moved to MI about that time.1
