James Salls

James Salls was born between 1800 and 1820; The only Salls family in Stockholm was that of Hix Salls, b, about 1805. Could James be a brother, another son of Isaac Salls and Elizaabeth Crawford?1 He married Maria M. Tryon, daughter of William Tryon and Sarah Scott, in 1839 at Saint Lawrence Co, New York; There was only one Salls in Saint Lawrence County, other than Hix. James L., appeared in the 1840 census in Brasher, as well as having a wife and female 15-19 years old.2 James Salls married Pamelia Covey on 13 November 1839 at Saint Lawrence Co, New York.
