Toussaint Raimond

     Toussaint Raimond was born on 12 September 1666 at Roullet, Angouleme, Angoumois, France; He was aged 28 at marriage.² He was the son of Barthélémi Raymond and Marguerite Chaudier. Toussaint Raimond married Barbe Pilet, daughter of François Pilet and Françoise Loisel, on 1 October 1696 at Montreal, Montreal Co, Quebec; Toussaint Remond was 28 years old, originally of the parish of Roulle, Diocese D'Angouleme. His parents were listed as Barthelemy Remond and Marguerite Chaudier. Barbe Pillet was aged 18 years, a resident of Boucherville, daughter of Francois Pilet, deceased, and Francoise Loisel, of Boucherville. One of the witnesses was a Jean Drapeau, brother-in-law or stepbrother of Barbe Pilet.^1,2 Toussaint Raimond died on 16 February 1740/41 at Montreal, Ile de Montreal, Quebec, at age 74.
      Toussaint Raimond was also known as Toussaint Raymond Passecampagne.³
