Barbe Pilet

     Barbe Pilet was born on 16 January 1677 at Boucherville, Quebec.^1,2 She was the daughter of François Pilet and Françoise Loisel. Barbe Pilet was baptized on 18 January 1677 at Boucherville, Quebec.^1,2 She married Toussaint Raimond, son of Barthélémi Raymond and Marguerite Chaudier, on 1 October 1696 at Montreal, Montreal Co, Quebec; Toussaint Remond was 28 years old, originally of the parish of Roulle, Diocese D'Angouleme. His parents were listed as Barthelemy Remond and Marguerite Chaudier. Barbe Pillet was aged 18 years, a resident of Boucherville, daughter of Francois Pilet, deceased, and Francoise Loisel, of Boucherville. One of the witnesses was a Jean Drapeau, brother-in-law or stepbrother of Barbe Pilet.^3,2 Barbe Pilet died on 2 January 1757 at General Hospital, Montreal, Montreal Co, Quebec, at age 79; Marie Barbe Pilet was aged 82 years, and was the widow of Raymond Passecampgane.² She was buried on 3 January 1757 at Montreal, Montreal Co, Quebec.²
