Claude Landry was born on 19 June 1662 at Chateau-Richer, Isle-de-Orleans, Quebec. He was the son of Guillaume Landry and Gabrielle Barré. Claude Landry married Angélique Veilleux-Vérieu, daughter of Nicolas Vérieul and Marguerite Hyardin, on 17 August 1688 at Ste-Famille, Isle-de-Orleans, Quebec. Claude Landry died on 19 September 1748 at St-François, Isle-de-Orleans, Quebec, at age 86.
