Guillaume Landry was born on 23 February 1623 at La Ventrouze, Mortagne, Perche, France. He was the son of Mathurin Landry and Damienne Desaints. Guillaume Landry married Gabrielle Barré, daughter of Jacques Barré and Judith Dussault, on 14 October 1659. Guillaume Landry died on 8 January 1689 at Ste-Famille, Isle-de-Orleans, Quebec, at age 65; "aged 66."
