A contract for the marriage of Françoise Loisel and François Pilet was signed on 27 December 1670 at Boucherville, Quebec; Francois Pillet was a maitre charpentier of Boucherville, originally from the parish of Polac, Eveche de Saintes, Xaintonge. His father was listed as Louis Pierre Pillet, deceased and his mother was Louise Semilau (not present). Francoise Loisel was daughter of Louis Loisel and Marguerite Charlotte of Montreal.1,2 Françoise Loisel married Charles Chevay dit Vendômois, son of Antoine Chevaye and Anne Hebert, on 16 August 1689 at Boucherville, Quebec; Charles Chevaye, 30, was a soldier in the company of M. Demuy, originally of the parish of Ste-Marie-Madeleine, Vendome, Eveche de Chartres. Francoise Loisel, widow of Francois Pilet, was 40 years old of Boucherville.1,2 Françoise Loisel died on 13 September 1690 at Boucherville, Quebec, at age 38; Francoise Loisel was stated to be 46 years old.1,2 She was buried on 14 September 1690 at Boucherville, Quebec.1,2
