William Curry

     William Curry was born circa 1781 at Yorkshire, England.¹ He married Sarah Abbey on 26 May 1807 at Yorkshire, England; Not sure why there is a marriage listed for the two in 1802 as well as 1807.¹ William Curry married Mary Ann Shores, daughter of Eli Shores and Elizabeth Pearson, on 6 March 1814 at St Peter's, Leeds, Yorks, England; Both parties made their mark on the certificate.² William Curry married Sarah Abbey on 2 December 1802 at Kirby Overblow, Yorkshire, England; There are two entries for this year, 1 Dec and 2 Dec.¹ William Curry died circa May 1858 at Hunslet, Yorks, England; There was a William Curry who died in 1858 in Holbeck, but a certificate has not yet been ordered.³
     He was a bricklayer at the time of his daughter's marriage. in 1846.
