Charles Pearson

     Charles Pearson was born circa 1808 at Yorks, England.1 He married Elizabeth Curry, daughter of William Curry and Mary Ann Shores, on 25 June 1843 at St Peter's, Leeds, Yorks, England; The marriage certificate gives Elizabeth's address as York Street, daughter of William "Cerrey", a bricklayer. Charles Pearson, widower, was of Garden Street, son of George Pearson, farmer. The witnesses were Richard Mann and Ann Mann who made their marks. Elizabeth also made her mark, but Charles signed his name as Charles Peason.2 Charles Pearson died in March 1845 at Leeds, Yorks, England; Charles was 37 and married at the time of his death and resided on Garden Street.1 He was buried on 12 March 1845 at St Peters, Leeds, Yorks, England.1
