     Sarah Curry was born in 1815. She was the daughter of William Curry and Mary Ann Shores. Sarah Curry was christened on 7 February 1815 at St Peter's, Leeds, Yorks, England; William was listed a soap boiler, and they lived at Cross Green, Leeds.1 She married Thomas Hainsworth on 18 April 1836 at St Peters, Leeds, Yorks, England; Thomas was a whitesmith. Witnesses were Robert Charlton and William Heaton.2 Sarah Curry died on 22 September 1876 at 5 Spa Street, Holbeck, Yorks, England.3
     She and Thomas Hainsworth appeared on the census of 1861 at Holbeck, Yorks, England; Thos Hainsworth, 57, was a white smith; Sarah, 56, both b. Leeds; Eliza, 37, b. Mansfield, Nottinghamshire; and Thomas Firth, grandson, 11, b. Leeds.4
