Annie Watkinson

     Annie Watkinson was born on 18 June 1884 at 8 Back Greenwood Street, Hunslet, Leeds, Yorks, England; This writer also has a certified copy of this birth record dated 1897. It is in very fragile condition and in several pieces.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Watkinson and Martha Dean.¹ Annie Watkinson married Joseph William Grayson, son of John Grayson and Emily Pownall, on 23 May 1904 at St Silas, Hunslet, Yorks, England; Joseph was a boiler maker and they both resided at 5 Alton Street. Another witness was Robert Grayson.^3,4 Annie Watkinson died on 4 January 1919 at Hunslet, Yorks, England, at age 34; This writer has a Memoriam ribbon with the death and burial dates. She was buried on 10 January 1919 at Woodhouse Hill Cemetery, Yorks, England.
