Melcher Nesbitt Wood was born on 4 June 1913 at Lynn, Essex Co, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Stanley Fenwick Wood and Ella May Nisbet. Melcher Nesbitt Wood died on 2 December 1919 at East Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 6; Melcher died of pneumonia at the age of 6.1 He was buried on 9 December 1954 at Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.1
