Elizabeth Brown Howard

     Elizabeth Brown Howard was born on 26 July 1826 at St Martins, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of John Howard Jr and Rachel Campbell Kerr. Elizabeth Brown Howard was born on 12 August 1826 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick.¹ She married Joseph Williams Wood, son of William D. Wood and Olivia Hovey Williams, on 4 April 1856 at St Martins, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. Elizabeth Brown Howard died on 4 June 1904 at West Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 77; WOOD-Suddenly, at St John West, of heart failure, Elizabeth B., beloved wife of Joseph W. Wood, in the 78th year of her age, leaving a husband, one son, and four daughters to mourn their sad loss. Funeral at 7 o'clock a.m. today from the residence of her son-in-law, J.F. Cheyne, No. 208 King Street (W.E.)
Herdeath certificate indicates she was Brethren and had died from heart failure.^2,3,4 She was buried on 6 June 1904 at Brown's Cemetery, Bain's Corner, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.³
