Patience Amelia Howard

     Patience Amelia Howard was born on 18 October 1828 at St Martins, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of John Howard Jr and Rachel Campbell Kerr. Patience Amelia Howard married Abel H. Washburn, son of Abel Washburn and Abigail Vaughan, on 23 February 1851 at St Martins, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; They were married by Rev. Wellington Jackson. Abel was listed as a shipbuilder. Witnesses were B. Ruddick and James Washburn.¹ Patience Amelia Howard died on 13 January 1907 at Stewarts, Portland, Washington Co, Oregon, at age 78.
