Isabella Daley

     Isabella Daley was born on 4 September 1845 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.¹ She was the daughter of David Daley and Sarah Stanley. Isabella Daley married Walter Lane, son of Walter Lane and Elizabeth Lisson, on 26 September 1861 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. Isabella Daley died on 27 October 1912 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 67. She was buried on 29 October 1912 at Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Grave #759, Lot 8, Spruce Ave.²
     She and Walter Lane appeared on the census of 1901 at 160 Wright Street, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Walter Lane, 67, and Isabelle, 55, children: Frederick C., 27, Winnie, 21, Rietta L., 17, and Wiliam, 12. Birthdates for all were given as well as that Walter was listed as a Baptist and a carpenter by trade.³
