Catherine McGill Kerr was born circa 1800 at Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of James Kerr and Elizabeth Brown. Catherine McGill Kerr married Alexander Grant Howard, son of John Howard and Patience Howard, on 25 December 1819 at Parrsboro, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia.¹ Catherine McGill Kerr died on 14 April 1861 at Port Greville, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia.
