     Edward Howard Thompson was born in 1822. He was the son of George Thompson and Frances Susannah Howard. Edward Howard Thompson married Hannah Brundage Wright on 27 August 1850 at Lakefield, Kings Co, New Brunswick; Edward was of Saint John, and Hannah was the 4th daughter of John Wright of Lakefield, Hampton parish [Kings Co]. The marriage took place at the home of her father.1 Edward Howard Thompson died on 5 January 1855 at Fredericton, York Co, New Brunswick.2
     The 1851 census of Kings Ward, Saint John County, show that Edward was a printer during his very short career.
