She married Job Stanley, son of Job Stanley and Isabella Dyer, on 8 April 1829 at St Andrews Methodist Church, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. Margaret Cronk died on 21 October 1849 at Mispec, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; New Brunswick Courier, dated 3 Nov 1849.
