     Isabella Dyer Thomas was born circa 1836 at Mispec, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of Daniel Thomas and Isabella Stanley. Isabella Dyer Thomas married George Stanley, son of Solomon Dyer Stanley and Martha Bennett Daley, on 24 October 1853 at St Andrew's Church, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.1 Isabella Dyer Thomas died on 6 November 1884 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick.2
     She appeared on the census of 1881 at Simonds, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Isabella was aged 44, widowed, and had in her household: Martha, 23, Hannah, 22, Samuel, 13 and Charles 3. They were C. Methodist.3
