Amos A. Campbell

     Amos A. Campbell was born circa 1846 at New Brunswick.1 He married Augusta Benjamin, daughter of William Henry Benjamin and Mary Elizabeth Wood, circa 1873. Amos A. Campbell died on 4 May 1895.2 He was buried at Waterville United Baptist Cemetery, Woodstock, Carleton Co, New Brunswick; The gravestone reads Amos A. Campbell, died May 4, 1895, aged 49 years.
     He appeared on the census of 1881 at Simonds Parish, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Amos Campbell, 35, Augusta, 28, and Alice, 7. Amos was a blacksmith and the family was Presbyterian.1
