     James Henry Daye was born on 25 July 1864 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. He was the son of James H. Daye and Harriett Stevens. James Henry Daye has also be reported to have been born 10 March 1865 Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.1 He married Ann Mary Darrah, daughter of John Darrah and Rebecca Jones, on 26 June 1895 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.2 James Henry Daye died on 7 October 1929 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 65. He was buried on 9 October 1929 at Old Cedar Hill Cemetery, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Chamberlain's Funeral Home handled the arrangements and he was buried in Lot 206 E1/2.3
