     Burfield J. Barton married Mary Jane McGaw, daughter of James Archibald McGaw and Rachel Howard Wood, on 19 January 1910 at 134 City Road, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; "A quiet wedding was solemnized last evening at the home of the bride's father, 134 City Road, when Miss May J., dau of Mr. James McGaw, was united in marriage to Mr. Burfield Barton of this city. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W.R. Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Barton will reside on Watson Street, West End. Mr. Barton is a street railway conductor on the Carleton loop, and his car was gaily decorated yesterday by his fellow employees in honor of the happy event."1,2 Burfield J. Barton died on 24 February 1931 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick.3
