He married Carlotta Kate Maude Patterson, daughter of William Gillies Patterson and Rachel Campbell Kerr Howard, on 7 February 1892 at Arcadia, Desota Co, Florida. Shade Wilson Walker died on 17 March 1958 at St Petersburg, Pinellas Co, Florida, at age 87.1
