Edna Mahala Scott was born on 6 September 1853 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Scott and Sarah Matilda Hazen. Edna Mahala Scott was baptized on 2 September 1854 at Clarenceville Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 She married Ransom W. Luther on 2 July 1871 at Cherokee Co.3
