Philip Hart was born on 12 January 1749 at Little Compton, Newport Co, Rhode Island.1 He was the son of Richard Hart and Mary Tabor. Philip Hart married Susannah Akin, daughter of James Akin and Patience Howard, on 18 December 1774 at Nine Partners Friend's Meetiing House, Nine Partners, Dutchess Co, Massachusetts.1 Philip Hart died at Hart's Village, Dutchess Co, New York.
