Richard Hart Jr was born in 1667 at Portsmouth, Newport Co, Rhode Island.1 He was the son of Richard Hart and Hannah Keene? Richard Hart Jr married Hannah Williams? circa 1693.1 Richard Hart Jr married Amey Gibbs on 31 October 1708 at Little Compton, Newport Co, Rhode Island.1 Richard Hart Jr died circa 1744 at Little Compton, Newport Co, Rhode Island. His estate was probated on 10 June 1744 at Bristol Co, Massachusetts.1
He left a will on 19 April 1745 at Taunton, Bristol Co, Massachusetts; "To wife Amey Hart, all table linen, sheats, towells, the feather bed I commonly lie on, use of all household goods and use of one of my cows. To son Richard my beetle rings and wedges and five shillings. To son Stephen all husbandry utensils, syder tubbs, hogsheads, great cedar powdering tub. To four daughters, Alse Closson, Mary Peckham, Sarah Wilcox and Comfort Grifford, 20 shillings among them. To daughter Comfort Gifford my warming pan and cedar tub. To granddaughter Hannah Hart, daughter of my son richard, my trammell. To grandson Richard Hart, son of my son Richard, my fire tongs. To son Stephen Hart, my box of writings and to have my land and housing where I now live in LC."1
