     Comfort Hart was born on 4 April 1710 at Little Compton, Newport Co, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of Richard Hart Jr and Amey Gibbs. Comfort Hart married John Gifford, son of Christopher Gifford and Deborah Perry, on 24 May 1730 at Little Compton, Newport Co, Rhode Island. Comfort Hart died in 1790.
