Ransom W. Luther1

     Ransom W. Luther was born on 7 October 1837 at Burlington, Bradford Co, Pennsylvania.2,3 He married Edna Mahala Scott, daughter of Samuel Scott and Sarah Matilda Hazen, on 2 July 1871 at Cherokee Co.4 Ransom W. Luther died on 30 March 1896 at Izard Co, Arkansas, at age 58.2 He was buried at Thayer Cemetery, Thayer, Oregon Co, Missouri.2
     He appeared on the census of 1880 at Batie, Benton Co, Arkansas; Ranson W. Luther, 43, Edna, 26, his daughter Allace, 19 and Eugene W., 4.3
