Stephen Manchester was born circa 1661 at Portsmouth, Newport Co, Rhode Island.1 He was the son of Thomas Manchester and Margaret Wood. Stephen Manchester married Elizabeth Wordell, daughter of Gershom Wordell and Mary Tripp, on 13 September 1684.1
