Thomas Kerr was born circa 1789 at Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia. He was the son of James Kerr and Elizabeth Brown. Thomas Kerr died in February 1813.
Thomas was an ensign in the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, and was subsequently killed by a wound received at the Battle of Freetown in Upper Canada during the War of 1812.
