Elizabeth
Kerr was born circa 1792 at
Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of
James Kerr and
Elizabeth Brown. Elizabeth Kerr married
James Elderkin, son of
Jeptha Elderkin and
Emma Johnson, circa 1815; Elizabeth married James Elderkin probably between 1812 and 1815, although no record has yet been located. It is apparant they lived at Apple River, as that is where James inherited a farm. Elizabeth Kerr died on 5 May 1865 at
Amherst, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia. She was buried at
Amherst, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia.
