     Ebenezer Kerr was born circa 1796 at Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia. He was the son of James Kerr and Elizabeth Brown. Ebenezer Kerr married Carolyn Lavinia Gesner, daughter of Henry Gesner and Sarah Pineo, on 3 July 1827 at Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia. Ebenezer Kerr died on 15 March 1870 at Parrsboro, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia; Death certificate says he died of lung fever. No date was on the record, but it was between 18 Feb and 26 March entries. He was a Captain of Arms, and married.1
     His Will was written 11 Feb 1870.
