     Charlotte Kerr was christened circa 1808 at Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of James Kerr and Elizabeth Brown. Charlotte Kerr married James Kirk on 13 January 1835 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; James Kirk was a merchant in Saint John and Charlotte was the youngest daughter of the late Colonel Kerr of Parrsboro, NS.1 Charlotte Kerr died on 15 January 1857 at Clifton Park, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.2
