     Mary Kerr was born circa 1828 at Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Joseph Norman Bond Kerr and Charlotte Baker. Mary Kerr married Amos Botsford Chandler on 8 November 1849 at Woody Bank Cottage, Wallace, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia; They were married by Rev. R. Avery in a double ceremony with her sister Ann and William Oxley.1 Mary Kerr died on 28 August 1861 at Richibucto, Kent Co, New Brunswick; Mary Chandler died of consumption at age 32.2
