Andrew Bennett was born circa 1681 at Gloucester, Essex Co, Massachusetts. He was the son of Anthony Bennett and Abigail Somes. Andrew Bennett married Rebecca Townsend, daughter of George Townsend and Rebecca (?), on 12 November 1709 at Charlestown, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts; Charlestown V.R. Andrew Bennett married Bethiah Carter on 6 August 1713 at Charlestown, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts; Charlestown V.R. Andrew Bennett died on 15 January 1718.
