     John Littlefield was baptized on 1 November 1624 at Titchfield, Hants Co, England.1 He was the son of Edmund Littlefield and Annis Austin. John Littlefield married Patience Wakefield circa 1645 at Gloucester, Essex Co, Massachusetts. John Littlefield died on 9 February 1696/97 at Wells, York Co, Maine, at age 72.1
     He immigrated in 1638 to Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts, aboard the ship "Bevis", commanded by Capt. Townes. He came with two servants, Hugh Durdal and Joh Knight and six children.
