Margaret Ann Thorne

     Margaret Ann Thorne was born at Salmon Creek, Queens Co, New Brunswick.¹ She was the daughter of Elias Thorne. Margaret Ann Thorne married Joseph Perley Wood, son of William Judson Wood and Eveline Daley, on 30 June 1903 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.² Margaret Ann Thorne died on 15 December 1961 at St John General Hospital, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Mrs. Margaret Ann Wood, wife of Joseph P. Wood of 309 Rothesay Avenue survived by her husband, three sons, two daughters, three brothers, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held Monday with service at 2 p.m. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery (no flowers by request).³ She was buried on 18 December 1961 at Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.³
