     Mabel Hargrove was born on 8 April 1868 at Musquash, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Her daughter, May Belyea had given the date as 7 April.1 She was the daughter of John William Hargrove and Sarah Jane Belding. Mabel Hargrove married Rudolphus F. Hepburn, son of Charles Hepburn and Lydia Trafton, on 30 November 1887.2 Mabel Hargrove died on 18 October 1918 at Halifax, Halifax Co, Nova Scotia, at age 50.3,4,2 She was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.
     She lived in 1916 at 24 Charles Street, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; 1916 Saint John City Directory.
