Eliza Ann Belding was born in 1831 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of David Belding and Jane Thomas. Eliza Ann Belding married Carleton Cottle on 27 September 1853 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Carleton Cottle was of Gagetown, Queens County.1 Eliza Ann Belding died on 13 January 1879 at Chance Harbour, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.2
